Out of those, definitely the Nimbus.

any vids of the nimbus on guitar or keys out there?

also - the ghost echo is a spring reverb, and the rrr and nimbus (don't know about the guyatone) do plate and room sounds... in this case it really depends on whether or not you like spring reverb in an ambient way. spring reverb has kind of a rep for being used for either surf music, or a subtle blues guitar reverb.. but it's hardly that at all. i personally love spring reverb, and would choose it any day (for guitar) over halls or plates or rooms. spring reverb is like a warm sunny day. the ghost echo is an amazing sounding pedal, but doesn't have the different kind of reverb choices. the rrr is versatile and the reverb sounds sooo good and natural, but it's just not really my flavor of verb, and sometimes the more extreme settings were a little un usable to me.

honestly i would get the rrr and the ghost echo if you're trying to figure out what reverb pedal you like. you never know, and it's really hard to tell from demos because no one plays like you, on your rig, right next to your amp hearing the sound. get em used and you'll be able to sell the one you don't like without a loss.

i hate to say it but cave setting on verbzilla.
that being said, i have an RRR and really love it - lush but not exactly "cavernous".

The RRR is great, love the simplicity of the controls, boost and mix work well together. Wish it had decay on a pot as opposed to a toggle. The Context is great too, similar to the RRR with a couple unique modes and def more tweakable. It easily goes deeper and crazier but I like the overall voicing of the RRR just a little better. I won't be getting rid of either though.

The Ghost Echo is fantastic. Also, while not top mounted, the recently reissued Spring Chicken LTD rules if you're after a simple spring verb (something lacking from both the RRR and Context) that goes HELLA deep. It even oscillates, gorgeous sounding pedal. Exp pedal lets you bring the crazy as well. Replaced my Ghost Echo actually.

That's my entire reverb arsenal listed there and I rarely get the verb GAS now days...

I'd add the TC Hall of Fame to the list. If you're looking for cavernous, I'd say that would be a good option to check out.

Might I add that you really can't go wrong with an RV-3 or RV-5 either...

Nimbus is massive and awesome on guitar. Perfect complement to the rrr's fantastic natural sounds. Will demo it on guitar in a month or so.

Nimbus is BIG but I'm not sure how well it can cop the room/hall/plate type toanz that the RRR does. And likewise, the RRR doesn't have the same lush and kinda shimmery quality of the Nimbus. For versatility I'd go with the RRR, out of that group, but the Nimbus is where it's at for heavenlytoanz.

This.

And as stripes said, you really can't go wrong with an RV-3. I love the RRR and Context, but I have a lasting relationship with my RV-3.

i have a ghost echo and love it. i searched for the right reverb for a long time before settling on it. interestingly, i didn't play any of the other ones you listed, but i sure did try a lot of others. it sounds to me a bit like a something in between a spring and a room reverb. it works fantastic with dirt, which most spring units don't do, and seems to lack some of that metallic high end content. in fact, it works better with dirt than pretty much any reverb i've tried. i dont' use it in a huge and cavernous way, but it sounds killer.

you should also check out the subdecay spring theory. sounds really good, particularly the room setting.

Yeah. I've got that and a RRR and the HoF is the only one of the two I would call cavernous. The RRR verb sounds are ridiculously nice and voiced just how I want, but it doesn't go that deep or long decay. The HoF can do muuuch longer decay times and has more types of reverb but the tone isn't quite as good imo.

Yeah, I can't find one. Hmm

Also, friends: I want my reverb to not trail after it's turned off. RRR & Nimbus don't have trails, do they?
