seriously, anything. whatever you want. just know that we should all be trying to give each other music that we're into and we hope others might like being introduced to. pushing limits / trying people w/ weird stuff or things you think are intentionally annoying, well it's your rep's neck on the line...
:picard:

just for another example w/ my other CDOTMC, i'd like to slap the jackass who sent me a disc of nothing but reggae and i've done nothing but roll my eyes and throw away the "summertime" disc. on the other hand there's one guy i've continued chatting music w/ because he introduced me to a few new acts i'm totally in love with (midnight juggernauts & a couple others) & one chick i wouldn't mind doing now that i was totally impressed by her mix & via facebook learned she's a cutie to boot...

I'm really excited for this. I mean probably more than I should be. Even if I don't like someones taste in music, it's always the thing i'm most interested in, in strangers... and many of you aren't total strangers, you're people who's opinions on gear I like reading and conversing. This reply had no point. Just stoked. I also can't help but be slightly nervous mine will be THAT mix, that other people on other forums talk about saying "yeah, ilf did one of these, one guy's mix made me find a new forum, so her i am".

Anyway, psyched to hear yours skully, and everyone elses of course.

I'm up to listen to anything you guys throw at me. I'm pretty open musically but I've been pretty set in my ways the last several years so I'm hoping to find some different stuff. Now that we know space6oy uses these groups for mating purposes the pressure is on! :doom:

SO I FOUND A WAY TO INCLUDE THE TRACK LISTING ON THE ALREADY PACKAGED CDS. Just taped a disc sleeve to the back, put the track list in, and put a piece of scotch tape over the flap. THESE WILL SHIP OUT TODAY

ALL OF THEM BUT ERICS ARE MAILED OUT.
I went first class, cause it would have been way too much to do them all priority. They should be there Wednesday!

Got yours today dude! I've only listened through about 10 of the tracks. It's really a new experience for me as it's alot of the metal genres I'm not super into but I also don't hate it. I plan on listening through it a few times to see if something sticks to me.

(dumb story) I was with my friend when I first popped it in (he's not real into anything but more classic rock and blues) at the first track, he was like what the hell is going on. Then, the familiar gong of Akuma No Uta (its like my favorite driving song so most of my friends have learned to love it) comes on and we were both got super pumped and headbanged all the way home.

Looking forward to the rest of it, dude. Alone though

Got mine as well! Learning to like a lot of the metal stuff. It's been a while since I really dug the noise/grind stuff, but those are good choices on there!
And another big hell yeah for Akuma No Uta!

Got mine today as well. starting strong with dirge prints and all. I especially enjoyed "027" by New Brutalism. Some of the songs were hard to listen to for me and I had to skip some of them. Some of the songs were, well, to intense for me. I did like tracks 7, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, 24, and 27 alot though.

After listening to this CD I'd say that "Skullservant" is an excellent username for you.

Are any of these local bands?
