It's coming together. Now I only need an SDD and a Woofer Wailer to complete the Dr. S board :!!!:

I like how you go for such rare treats, Andrew! Like that old proto mini, what a cool find!

Thomas, your board looks killer and I'm so happy your pedals arrived and thanks again for being so patient with the shipping. Dirt 'n' delay, I like your style buddy!

how do you like the verb before and after the delay? Is it good for ambience? I found rrr #211 at a local pawn shop and I'm going to trade some gear for it!!!!

Yeah, it's an RRR, or a Mini-Reverberator. It was hand-painted by a friend of Ryan's who I can't remember the name of right now and limited to ten pedals. Each were different and uniquely stunning. They called them the 'Heart-Benerators', after the designer. I eventually sold the pedal because I didn't like how the reverb sounded with dirt. It's the same reason I sold the Empress SuperDelay. Both were the perfect pedals, but I just couldn't jive with their interaction with fuzz and distortion.

It's cool how different music, and making music, is - I never thought I would ever use reverb with distortion until I got the RRR!

I think the RRR sounds awesome with fuzz and distortion, tried it with tons of pedals through the years.

My RRR is almost always on. Some light reverb makes the sound bigger and the RRR acts as a superb line driver!

I found it too thin and crystalline. I don't want to criticise it tonally or physically because it's an awesome pedal built by an awesome person I trust as a builder in this vast business. I get why so many others love it. It's not one of those situations where I'm like "why the fuck would anyone use this?". I totally get it. I guess it just wasn't for me. I'm in love with the EQD Ghost Echo.

Statements like 'the RRR doesn't sound good with dirt' kinda bug me sometimes.. blanket statements about things that just sound like the final verdict, case closed, when they're not, they're a single person's opinion based on their very specific tastes and guitar and amp and other pedals.

There's tons of people on this board who use the RRR with dirt...even pedal-boards in the big thread with only dirt and a RRR. There's people here that like it with dirt so much they put it first. There's guys with any amp and guitar anybody could want and who've tried every reverb pedal available and they use the RRR. With Dirt.

So don't gimme that thin and crystalline crap, Danny! *pulls Danny's underpants over his head*

(just joshin with ya, happy to hear everybody's opinion, even the wrong ones. *Ed McMahon voice Heeyoooo*)

That annoys me too. i think most people don't think about how they write stuff. And I can't stand it when people say "This is the worst movie/singer/actor/band..." - No it's not, you just don't like it.
