oh god that must be tits having all three, I still haven't found a verb that sounds better than the RV-3 to me, its probably the pedal I use the most. Pre-dirt it is AMAZING
also been more and more fond of the FZ-2 lately, if you put a volume pedal before it in mode 2 you can totally sound like a convincing trumpet playing single notes

yeah my 5 and 2 are pre dirt on boards right now, the 3 is so good, and being able to hit one pedal for instant verb and delay is about the best thing ever

Enjoying the FRV-1 fake verb tank.

Extremely limited but so is the real thing.

But the couple tricks it does are well worth the price of admission, and doesn't choke if fed a wall of fuzz.

Works just fine before the non-buffer sensitive ones too.

I love all my Boss pedals. You gotta respect what they did for the market. Taking the chorus out of the JC-120 and packaging and mass producing it in pedal form. So stupidly simple but it was a game changer for compact pedals (not the first stompboxes to be sure, but I get the feel that they really initiated pedal fever for the masses IMO).

I could probably come up with something better than my SD-2 but I do love it. Beyond that;

Mass Love for the OC-2: No better Analog Octaver as a basis for synthy tones into a Fuzz followed by an Envelope Filter. Love it on bass,...doesn't see a great deal of use on guitar for me.

Also mass love for the LS-2. One of my favorite Swiss Army Knife. It's not a perfect design but I feel like these should be General Issue for anyone building even a moderately elaborate pedalboard. I do wish they would package this in a Twin Pedal form (like the GigiDelay) for more options (IE switching Loop A and Loop B independently rather than having to cycle between A->B->Bypass).

Protip; if you are struggling with the tightness (a design flaw admittedly) of the I/O Jacks and the Send and Return Jacks,...bite the bullet and use some solderless cables; even if it is only to use with the LS-2. The small profile of the plugs from George L's accommodates filling the LS-2 up with 6 plugs.

I have both. The VB-2 is absolutely beautiful, the SG-1 is kinda fun. If you're gonna get one first, go for the VB-2.

What kind of applications are you using the FB-2 for? It sounds like it could be really expressive.

mostly for a cocked wah sound and also for feedback swells. it's much different than the df-2.

i've since added an mo-2 and am digging the leslie effect it can do.

Right on.
Yeah I was thinking of getting the VB2 first. Trouble is... Finding them under like $400, haha.

I don't use stereo right now, not much of a point with the playing opportunities I get.

This is on my LYT 24 board

I will get a board pic up soon
