Have a ramping feedback knob accessible via a switch (similar to vibrato or trem ramping (Sonar)). Ramp up and down speed (knob) would be cool. If you want to be able to switch the ramping function to control delay time or mix that would be cool too.
I don't like how the slam switch on delays is either extreme or not. It could be remedied with a ramping function so it will gradually increase feedback and gradually decrease it.
Make this happen.
Thank you.

Expression control over the feedback would work for me. which you can find.
You mean like, how the vb2 or tremolessence works a momentary switch. Which increase or decreases feedback, at a speed determined by a pot. Yeah...
I like that idea...

I dunno, from the delay pedals I tried the feedback / oscillation hold on the DMM550TT is very good with this, you can even setup the amount of feedback you want on holding down the footswitch with it.

good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

Hmmm....
That delay has been on my radar for a LONG time.

A little elaboration to be more clear:
Holding down for a while on the exp mode button you can access the setup for the tap hold infinite feedback setting, just turn the feedback knob to where you want it and press the exp mode button again and you should be set.
I love this pedal, I'm actually thinking about selling my Timeline and using it as my main delay instead, I might be selling my big box DMM reissue as well.

the momentary switch on my electroman tends to oscillate too quickly for me to use it the way i'd like...

I think the manual said there was a trimpot for that. At least on the newer version.

Re: Someone make this Delay
Yea, anything with feedback set to expression pedal or LFO will do it.
Easiest in my pile is either the Digi Time Bender or the delays in the GR-55; on the latter I can set different LFOs to control diffferent parameters.
Most even pseudo-modern rack stuff should do it too.

Re: Someone make this Delay
Yeah I've been working on this. On a delay I've built I've got it so that if you move the delay time knob while holding down the mom switch it's sets the attack, mod speed for release and mod depth for the amount of feedback gain. It's a bit crude but adding more knobs to something already complicated is like ughhhhhhhhhh.
If you put a volume pedal on a delay with an FX loop (If the fx loop is in the feedback path) you can do this kinda stuff too.
