84 Ibanez Roadstar RB850

Does anyone know anything about them? My dad gave me his recently and it's a sweet bass. Light as a feather, comfortable neck, great action, and it's freaking loaded with tone! It has push/pull knobs (more like buttons really), so I guess it's has some kind of coil tapping. Other than that I'm in the dark.
