Looks like Gentry Densley's EGC, except it appears a normal scale instrument and Gentry tunes below the bass register, that kind of tuning wouldn't be possible on this. What gives?

Yeah I know he has had a guy working on that guitar for him for a bit. I think it might be a HEX prototype, and if so, I want one. The first one used wood from an old cutting board as the body and it was fucking beautiful

yes, its the hex guitar prototype. there were pictures of Gentry using it with Eagle Twin somewhere in Europe a week or so ago. it is rather sexy!

I'd have to imagine the weird angle on the lower strings to get to the other side of the headstock can't be good for the integrity of the strings, it certainly looks cool.

That is kinda weird. I'd have gone 3x3.

Looks great, headstock shape is cool but I agree 3x3 makes more sense. Also I don't know how I feel about controls behind the bridge.

I looks like it's supposed to be a 12-string with those holes below the bridge and even the bridge looks like 12-string model.

It most definitely isn't, it's a Schaller 3D6.

I'm viewing this on my phone so it's hard to tell. The roller is so far back that I thought a second one might be be further up.
