I'm slow. I had heard of them but I wasn't paying attention. I heard year zero on the radio today and im hooked. July 29th they'll be in Baltimore so I may need to catch that.

No, actually. Ghost kind of disappoint me. :( And kindred Portal is beginning to as well.

Goddamn lovecraftian black metal bands losing their righteousness. (...I'll have to change this)

I'm not even sure how Ghost and Portal can even belong in the same sentence, let alone be linked by some sort of "lovecraftian black metal" thing (unless by "lovecraftian black metal" you mean "hey dude they both wear masks") but eh, whatever

Note that I do, however, agree with the implied notion that Vexovoid isn't as good as their previous material.

You're right in that Ghost does not harness it well xP. Perhaps you would have preferred the term "horror metal".
