I love the way she finishes off her phrases.... Awesome vocal signature.
Caught her live show during the reminder tour... Can' t recommend it enough... See her if you can.

She's great. Awesome backing band as well...Charlie from Broken Social Scene and Brian from Beck's band. I mean, come on!
Toured with her in the last band I was in and we spent about every night in dive bars playing the old shooter arcade games!

Yeah! The whole of Metals was super good, but that song is something else.

Really loved that mastodon cover too, cool take on the song. Their version of A Commotion is pretty sweet too!

She's definitely one of my favorite Canadians. I've always wanted to catch her with Broken Social Scene.

her free show here in montreal (opening for the Montreal Jazz Festival) left a lot to be desired. I'm more then a casual fan, so it must have been painful for those that came out but only know the singles (which she avoided).

every time she performs live I get the impression she barely knows her songs, and just rolls through them unrehearsed and her backing band makes the best to follow her. I can barely follow her because she cuts pauses, or lengthens others on the apparent whim. anyone else get this impression?
