little pedals?

Post by CBGB »

Board-space saving, stick-them-in-your-pocket, straighforwardly funtioning, amazing-sounding pedals in boxes half the width of a standard MXR or smaller...

A board made up of a tonne of them would be very cool. Or maybe it's partly the cuteness factor too :)

Things like the Catalinbread Ottava Magus, the little Dan Amstrong effects, etc. And remember those mini Mellotone things (whatever happened to...?)

What else is out there? What do you recommend?
ILF pedals: DE Eye of God, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Mellowtone Singing Tree LE, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash Oscillator, DSc Miniberator, Mysterious J boost/cut/tremolo pedal

Devi made mini 05, 25, 33 and kp's once. and a Valcoder Tremolo is a must.

While I have absolutely no experience with 'em, I know a lot of people who like those little Guyatone micro pedals...

Dude, a ball pit is not... weren't you ever a little kid? Ya know, a ball pit, with the plastic balls and you'd jump in it... it's not a gay bar!

There's the Lovepedal mini pedals which all sound pretty sweet: http://www.lovepedal.com/pedals_now.html

But I'm wondering what about more experimental mini pedals?

I want my pedals to be semi big (not as big as a semi though).
A size that demands respect. Big enough to say “I sound Huge”.
The little ones are cool but look like part of the “Rock Star Barbie” collection.

Yep.
I'm definitely moving towards tiny pedals, since my car broke and I have to go to rehearsals on bus. :whateva:

Cusack makes a tiny boost pedal. It is very expensive.

i have the lovepedal amp 50 (their tiny overdrive). i like it quite a bit, even though there's a very slight dip in volume.

i really wanna try the tremolo they have.
