Personally, I think the Mini is better suited for bass than the standard fuck. The EQ/bias knobs are veeeery helpful in sculpting the sound and the mini has more low end response.

the mini is sooooo good!! pretty much just like the sparkle motion in that they make all my other pedals sound better. really made me fall in love with the hawk again.
this is the first pedal where i've wanted more than one for different parts of the chain

I took the time to meet my new Mini. Two hours later I'm very satisfied. Gorgeous tone and looks. Some pedal order arrangments still have to be done. I'll post a picture of the final version.

Great pedal! Thanks.

Got a Mini in trade last week and was really liking the toanz after testing it out on my board, but I could say that about many of the pedals I've ended up flipping in the past. The real test came last night at band practice. I have auditioned multiple dirt pedals with this band and only a couple have sat right in the mix (BabyThundaa and the 3xfx Fatman) From the way it performed at home, I had high hopes for the Mini and it did not disappoint! With higher gain pedals (Thundaa) I tend to drown out the guitar player and though my tone sounds awesome, it's counter-productive to the overall band sound. The Mini allowed me to dial in the right amount of dirt and girth on my bass so that we sounded crushing as a band, not just me crushing the mix.

I have been waiting a long time to find a pedal this awesome. I tend to gravitate to pedals with pretty simple setups, but it was so easy to find the right settings for home and band situations and most OD pedals I have tried sounded good, but just didn't have enough dirt available (I'm looking at you, Fulltone Bass Drive). My search for a gigging dirt pedal is over, I'll be keeping this one for a looooong time.

I just picked up a pickup for my acoustic guitar, in the mini rocks on that as well. Rocks on literally everything. Good shit.
