Yeah they look really awesome and the price is pretty nice too.I'll have to go down to guitarshitter and see if any of them are playable. If not I really hope some of the smaller shops around carry them.

RECORDING KING!!!!!

I bought an ROS-647 for $899 a couple of months ago and it is a great guitar. They've got other models under $700 that are solid wood. I bought mine through Guitar Hut in Tennessee. They do a great set up on the guitars before they ship them out.

I really like the orchestral shape one.

My suggestion: Find what you want within a budget a bit higher... then find a used one. Fuck buying new guitars.

My Recording King was a blem so I saved $150. Just a beautiful and wonderful playing guitar. It is too bad that not that many stores carry them. I bought mine without having played it and did not get burned but it is a risk.

The ROS 647!

Get a Seagull. Can't go wrong with Canadian construction on the cheap.

Seagulls are pretty good. for you price range some of the Breedlove guitars would do nicely. if you havent played these before you should try one out.
or you could save up 3,000 and get a Collings.
which would be the best guitar youve ever played. guarenteed. unless youve played a ten year old collings.
check em' out!

I have a Breedlove. It's pretty awesome. I've been having a hell of a time finding a guitar in any price range I think sounds much better. It plays great, too. I just want a wider neck.

One word for you: Guild.

In a few more words - if you look carefully you should be able find one of the new GAD-series Chinese made Guild acoustics in this price range.

And, don't knock them until you try them.
Incredible work, if you find one that is "just right" you've got a very special guitar that is unbeatable at just about any price.
