Yea I wouldn't lump GB with AC.
To my Animal Collective is an acquired taste. Once you get used to their style/sound you probably enjoy it more.

This might be so...
My friend's played some Animal Collective while we were just hanging around and it was pretty okay. Whenever I try to actively listen to them, though, it just annoys me and I can't make it through a song.
I'll try again sometime.

Strawberry jam is pretty accessible. Feels as well.

Spirit I think it a little too noisey for me but I love Alvin Row, fucking love campfire songs it's gorgeous and so moody

Strawberry jam is my favorite. I'm a huge anco fan. Unfortunately, any time they play by me it's in Canada :/

Big fan of the majority of their work. Favs would have to be Sung Tongs and Strawberry Jam.
