BF-2 for your normal flange toanz. FLANGER HOAX for your insane flange/phase/noise stuff. They can usually be found for not too much.

Digitech PDS 20/20 :) the only flanger i've ever really liked, can do a lot of sounds plus awesome LFO siren noises from the infinite loop :)

I'd go far as saying it's irreplaceable

IDK, TWW, if analog is a must, but if it isn't, you should consider the TC Vortex.

Pretty much the only digital flanger I've ever really liked. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good for the money. Well under the $200 limit.

What about the Mr Black Tunnelworm it Subdecay Quantum Starlight? Both look pretty amazeballs, and are sub-200.

Mooer Eleclady. It has a manual mode and it self-oscillates.

For all my flanging needs, and they go to stupid insane, I have a pair of fulltime Digitech RDS-series delays.

But that isn't a flanger, says you.

It does any stupid chorus/flange effect on earth - adjustable LFO and can set the delay time from 'normal' flange range of 8-15ms to 3600.

Then you go to outer freaking space.

If I just wanted *a* flanger, I'd buy a BF-2 and call it good.

But I want modulation from hell and then some.

A Klon?

Or a cheap ibanez sound tank flanger or maybe an arion.
Fuzz, reverb, delay.

The Ibanez Airplane flanger is basically two A/DA Flangers in one box, for what it's worth, but I like it.

The Boss BF-2 is the best normal flange tone.
