The maple necked squire mustang I played recently was nasty...in a bad way. Rosewood one felt ok.

Yeah that's my biggest worry with these Squier guitars. I'm not a huge fan of the maple necks I've played on them.

They definitely looked and felt cheap. However, the Squier CV 50's Pbass with maple neck, I remember liking. It was fat, and glossy, and 50s'ish. :idk:
