Dude, just clean boost it! rockness monster on here makes a SHO clone and it works wonders with every tube amp I've played it through. It also makes your fuzz sound huge.

Yeah. actually clean boosts don't sound very good on Devilles. I'd go with a bassy overdrive because the DeVille is so trebly. I'd go with a Fuzzhugger Groundswell. You could also try a RAT on low gain and with the tone all the way down, that sounds great on DeVilles.

how's the Mellowtone Singing Tree? I've seen it in a few people's pedalboards and like the sound, I've heard it's discontinued though?

Similar to the Devi Ever KP. I'd really like mine back, actually. Maybe its time to put up another want thread. :whateva:

Very organic and can do some medium gain distortion fuzz tones too if the gain is cranked. The Threshold controls how much dirt the pedal is giving out, turning it fully clockwise gives a very open clean boost setting, while counter clockwise it's more overdrive/distortion.

The singing tree is awesome. I use it to push my Twin sometimes and I really dig the sound of it. uhh... You can always place a custom order with Eric. I did, and I got a WC Deluxe almost a year ago. Good times.
well i guess, but i just don't know.

Singing Trees are great but, again, they don't have a tone control and with sound brittle and trebly.

I just made this clip with my OD:
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8241383

It is with a Tele bridge pickup and gain at 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock , Full and tone just after 12 o'clock
I place, solder and wire every part.
By hand. By me.

I got this... And I couldn't be happier!

I have a nice purple sparkle one. I used to have an older big box rat, and this blows it out of the water in terms of versatility, and tone. It can do anything from a really light drive, to a full on fuzz! And it's way more dynamic than my old rat. It's such a cool pedal!
