I'm not sure the FideliTrons are really any different from the Asian manufactured Gretsch FilterTrons that you can get for $50 a pop on Ebay. My guess is no or not different enough to care.

i find it quite interesting, but need to hear it. the Gretsch basses with the bass F'Trons have an interesting voice, and i really love the early P-Bass body style.
