So, I don't know if there are a ton of toy geeks here or not, but I'm guessing there are a few...
Anyhow, since I live in Providence, I know a few people from Hasbro (world HQ in Pawtucket RI, right next door!), and play music with a few as well. This past weekend, I got together with a few of them to play a benefit show for a Hasbro photographer, Gianni Lopergolo, who was diagnosed with ALS (aka Lou Gherig's Disease) three years ago. He's a great photographer, and has three kids... the bills for this kind of thing are astronomical, so his coworkers decided to put together a book of his work, with all proceeds going to the National ALS Foundation, the RI chapter of the ALS foundation, and a private fund to help his kids.
His work is pretty amazing - he'd build full environmental dioramas as sets, to get the toys into lifelike or fantastical situations. Anyhow, if you're interested in toy photography, pop culture photography or anything along those lines, check out the book at http://www.hasbro.com/discover/giannis-book.cfm - if you dig it, you can pick up a copy there.

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.
