buying multiples of one pedal

Post by fishtankdork »

you ever feel like you need the same pedal twice? i have an extreme pedal fetish, and knob twirling fetish while playing, however my mid-fi dlx pitch pirate i tweak the shit out of. today i just pulled the trigger on a 2nd. id figure id keep one on delay and one on balls to the wall crazy that way i dont have to tweak 6 knobs on the fly back to delay or balls to wall if needed in song. anyone else do similar crap?

If a pedal has that many good sound then hell yeah.
I've had multiple Fuck ODs / Minis before and it's totally justifiable having like three of them.

Yeah I can totally understand doing that.
I've wanted a second Mini and a second El Capistan for ages, I would definitely use them enough to justify it so it's no less useful than buying any other pedal really.

The only pedal I've ever owned two of (besides my own) is the SS/BS Mini. It was worth it.

For the record I did sell one of them, but it is dearly missed.

I've done it with delays, I still have four or five, not sure if I sold #5 or not, of the Digitech RDS rackmounts with LFO.

I've got a Devi TP and a Shoegazer. I bought the TP as backup of sorts when I broke my Shoegazer during a gig, helps me sleep at night these days. I'd love two dd6's though.

I'm thinking of getting a 2nd Pharaoh, just because it's so bad-assed.

Definitely. I will end up with a couple of elements eventually, could easily use another arc flash as well.

I could easily use a second mini or maybe a big fuck instead. Normally I'm all into variety but it just has so many cool sounds.

I'll be joining this party soon, with a second Mini. In a perfect world, I'd get two of the new ones with the top-mounted jacks and snug them up side-by-side for single-stomping, dual dirt action.

I have thought about doing this a couple of times, would love a second timebender, or a way to have 8 presets
DL4 would be in the same boat, one for looping and one for all the delays.

Also: If I could own a second RV-5 I would be pretty happy

and I still want to try stacking monarchs together
