Comparison between the Cathedral & The Digiverb's Reverse?

Post by tashiattack »

Can anyone here offer a comparison between the cathedral and digiverb's reverse modes? I have a cathedral, but I only use it for reverse and occasionally the hall mode for extreme settings (long decay). I was thinking of downsizing to the digiverb and using the extra cash to pick up a rat tail :omg:

Thanks friends :)

i never use reverse reverb, but i honestly really like the digiverb and i think it's got way more bang for your buck than the cathedral.

I think the reverse sounds like butt on the Cathedral, & I really love the pedal.
There's a big volume boost when you go full wet, too.

It's been 3+ years since I played with a cathedral but I thought the digiverb's reverse sounded much better. I still use two rv-7's on my board, both in reverse. The digiverbs are cheap these days, enough so it definitely would not hurt to buy and try.
