Mark from Black Arts Toneworks uses a mod'd Valve Jr through and Emperor 2x12 to test most everything he builds. It sounds FANTASTIC, I was honestly shocked the first time I heard that little setup!

love the Valve Jrs.; when they were current i used them for all my guitar shop tests because they're quite consistent and sound good. i found them to be less noisy than many of the small two-tube amps out there, particularly the Fender Champion/Gretsch Electromatic models.

I bought the valve junior, it swallows some serious muffin' like it's ment to be. Nice warm sound, I like it!

the powertube is a genalex n709, I don't think it's original but it does tje job nicely!

perfect for house, kitchen & garden jamming! :joy:

One of my old guitarists has one. Sounds killer, especially cranked.

I was just looking at these. My shop has a head and two cars. I could snatch it for cheap.

I was playing the johnny Marr jag through it. Cranked up, using the guitars volume knob to control drive. It was so dynamic and awesome. I may have to get it. When I'm not broker than the joker, that is.
