bridge hb in a neck

so i have an unused surf90 hb its a bridge one, pros and cons to use it on the neck of a telecaster, just dont want to waste a set of strings (or 2), share the wisdom

Bridge pickups are often made to be hotter than their matching neck pickups. The string spacing may also be wider on a bridge one than a neck one.
If those aren't issues, go for it :idk:

I had a super distortion in the neck of my RD artist - worked out fine. Sounded like ass, but that was the pickup!
