Using pedals with synths???
I'm new to the synth world but I just got a Moog Sub Phatty and I'd like to run it through a delay and reverb. The Moog has got quarter" outs so everything is good there but where do people physically put there pedals so that they're accessible by hand so I can tweak the knobs while still playing the keyboard? I looked at some stands at the local Guitar Center as well as online and I couldn't figure out any that would work. I'm not that handy with building stuff but I'm almost thinking of just getting a big enough board to put my keyboard on (not sure how to securely mount that) and then velcro a few pedals and a power strip on there. Maybe make it a box so I can transport it to gigs.

Like This???
Any good stand and a piece of wood will do it... Ho Depot will even cut it for you... Get some stain or purple paint and you're done son... Also watch the levels when feeding line level into guitar pedals...

Something like that would definitely work as a temporary solution. I'd definitely like to case everything up at some point plus have a way to secure it to a stand. I would have figured they'd have stuff like this (I'm still sure they do) and that it would be fairly easy to find.

What do you want to secure, the board can attached with clamps screwed into the wood but unless your gonna Wold Mother it really doesn't matter... The Sub Phatty will fit in a large case from Gator or something but as far as an all in one solution you're gonna have to improvise... The stand in my pic is a two tier stand... You could put the Phatty on the bottom and use a piece of wood on the top tier for pedals...

ive seen people velcro pedals to a strap and wear it around their body, kinda like a bandolier or gun holster for pedals. wire it up to yourself and tweak knobs, not the best idea but it would look cool and would be great for the lulz.
getting a case for the synth with extra room for pedals would probably be the best way to go.

The first things I see when opening this thread are "Sub Phatty" and that Cloudbuster. So jelly, of both.
But yeah, pedals w/synths is a big thumbs up.
One of my favorite combinations is Rhodes > Space Echo > Phaser
The Hammond B3 into a Leslie 122 is also right up there.
As for mounting solutions, why not grab a PT Mini or Nano? Or their cheaper equivalents...
Here's my first post "pedalboard" shot with a synth...although the setup is considerably different than what we're discussing here...in terms of physical footprint and logistics. (the ed10 is on a cymbal stand)

But I could just as easily see them mounted on a sheetmusic stand, kind of like justnick does in many of his demoes=

Maybe that's your best bet...

I used to use one of the portable wooden TV tray table with some velcro on it. Then just use a piece of nice plywood for a board with the other side of the velcro on it. Sticks great to the TV tray, then you can just throw the plywood board in a little suitcase or something.

Re: Using pedals with synths???
Gonna go ahead and second the general consensus of just making/buying a board of some sort that's large enough for the Moog and your pedals. Or if you wanna get weird you can shove the synth in the bottom of a suitcase and put all the pedals in the top half with zipties or something. I've seen people do similar things and it seems to work well for them.
