I'm sure someone out there could do a better job than me, but since they offer a very consistent discount at all times they're basically just selling pedals for less than the manufacturer would charge themselves. More sales for Prymaxe, less sales for other outlets (i.e. direct from builder sales, other retailers). Hurting the market as a whole. Walmart.

Or so, that's what I've gathered. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

This thread should be compulsory reading for everyone thinking of buying from Prymaxe.

Whole thread is a pretty interesting read.

Rogue Guitar Shop offer even more off their pedals. They PM'ed me when I put up a WTB thread over on TGP (three acronyms in a small sentence FTW). I felt weird paying $200 for a $250 pedal so I decided not to do it. I'm glad because they apparently aren't the best shop in the world. I also needed the pedal really quickly and they were taking too long to reply—they had terrible communication skills—so I bought one from a UK dealer and had it two days later. It cost almost €80 more but it would have taken two weeks from Rogue Guitar Shop and I needed that shizzle sharpish.

Wow, Tom's words are so cutting. I don't mean that in a negative way. They just make so much sense. I never considered it for a second what Prymaxe could be doing to the market. I just take like to make a saving. I'll buy from others more from now on. That might be a quick decision to make for something that I should have known already, but I believe in this whole boutique industry and I don't want to impact it negatively, even if I've acted ignorantly in the past. I'm not so proud that I can't immediately change my actions.
