Low-gain, 60s-style fuzzdrive / overfuzz
OK OK.
Also:
I KNOW I KNOW.
But there are a lot of new options recently, and it's hard to separate them all out from people/pedals that just want balls-out super-bassy fuzz.
What I'd like is a fuzz that can do overdrive, but then also can do some light fuzz tones. The Singing Tree does this very well, but I can't get one of those anymore.
So I do have a couple pedals in mind, but I want to see what all ya'll say first.
I'm talking like Revolver-era, Electric Warrior, but then also an option to get yer basic overdrive sound. I know that Bolan used a Rangemaster, but that's not what I'm looking for.
Give me your thoughts and I'll see if they match mine.
Low gain overfuzz / fuzzdrive.

I don't know about all that 60's stuff, but the ss/bs mini or a colorsound od (basic audio futureman/black arts black forest) are amazing for anything between od and fuzz

mini, algal bloom, BAT black forest, maybe some Basic Audio things? Not too clued up on their pedals but I feel like they do things like that.

Basic Audio would be my suggestion too. The Spooky Tooth more specifically.

Thanks for all the suggestions! The Mini and Black Forest were the two that were piquing my interest the most... something like a Treble Booster but with more options.
The BF seems a little fuzzdrive-ier to me.

Mini overdrive. That bias knob can really help nail that ugly clipping that I hear on classic records. Also, if you don't mind fucking with your guitars volume knob, the Torn's Peaker is a very overdrive charactered fuzz.

Fuzzface...but you'll likely have to go through a few in order to find "the one"

Buzzaround. Gawd I love a good Buzzaround.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

The Buzzaround is SUPER BADASS, huge range of sounds from splatty, thinner "vintage" fuzz to really thick and aggressive fuzz. Great clarity too. Arc Effects Crimson King is a really great version. The updated Gamut looks cool too if you're after a treble booster. The original 2-knobber is fantastic.
The Black Forest is superb but I wouldn't get it soley for a 60's style sound. It def gets weird and sputtery in low gain settings but it's more useful for it's powerful EQ and boosting capability, pushing an already dirty amp or fuzz/dirt pedal into total awesomeness or running it with the fuzz up full bore which is def not an old school tone. The decay is a little weird on lower gain settings if you're running it alone into a clean amp, not sure it would give you the sound you're after but pair it with another good pedal or amp and it screams.
