This is a really great pedal. Some very nice sounds on offer. Sorry but there's some horrible blues/metal wank in this, the kind I bitch about, but the pedal actually really lends itself to those styles so I'll excuse myself this one time.

Sounds kind of Fendery at low gain, then a bit JCM800ish at mid gain, then a bit Randall or Mesa like at high gain.

The second one is a bit dodgy - I have fairly bright Humbuckers which sound very honky at the higher gain settings. When I roll the tone down, it fares much better but makes everything else sound muddy.

For some reason the amp's own gain when I do a comparison came off much brighter in the recording, less muffled. Not sure why.

The first clip does have better tone (to me) than the second.
Sounds really good..

Yeah like I said I had the tone knob way down by accident... d'oh. I Also moved the mic nearerl. Apparently with a condenser I should move it back a bit?
