I saw this band On Jimmy Fallon. Music is rather derivative, but god damn I dig the energy the lead singer puts out. And the music sounds great as well. I don't usually take the time to go on youtube and look up more videos of a band after I see them on TV, but this one I did, and I love it. Makes me pumped to get my new Mustang too. DAT DUO SONIC.

Listened to the album and it's just soooo derivative. Some good songs but it doesn't really feel like they're trying a lot of new stuff. They do look from videos like they're pretty good live though so I'd probably still see em if I got the chance.
Yea watched them live in a pretty small venue couple months ago right before they got hyped up, they were loud and awesome. Got into the first row right in front of the pedalboard and saw the tapping action, fucking fun!

I'm worried the album is going to be like getting an Arcade Fire album, their such a powerful live band that the recordings are weak by comparison. Maybe I'll just rip some live tracks off youtube...

She actually very rarely hits the re-20 (almost never), and not a single kick on the blue box that night.. but kept on scrolling and switching presets on that dd20 like crazy (woulda been easier with the dl4 instead), plus non-stop tapping on that dist+ & 808. The blues and the compressor are always on, and used the tuner to cut the crazy delay feedback after every set (beside tuning, duh)
