We're trying out a "new" kind of fuzz demo where we look at fuzzes in the context of the mix. Listening to tracks in isolation, how they stack on top of each other, and in the context of the mix as a whole.
I'm hoping that this is quite a cool thing, but any feedback that you could offer is very welcome. Is this a useful kind of video? Would you watch more?..

Cool concept!
The riffing sounds cool too.
From here I honestly don't hear the Noise Floor in your mix that much though, it mostly just sounds like rockin' guitars, not much fuzz at all, but I guess that's the thing I have with Big Muff type pedals, they sound more like distortion than a proper fuzz, then again it has to be tight enough if you're playing Metal offcourse so I guess otherwise it won't work.
I'd personally fader ride the Noise Floor to make it go more in and out the mix on certain parts in the song to make the sound more special, but again it might not work in this situation.

Already got one ready to render. It's got a LOT of pedals in it.
It'll be up next week I think. It's the final track from "Finish The Fucking Story" EP if you want to swat up? See if you can guess the pedals in advance!

EHX Memory Toy, Germanium4 Big Muff, LPB-1, Poly Chorus
Subdecay Noise Box, Super Nova Drive
GimpFX Fat Freak
Boss SD-1
Mooer Blue Faze
Kay Fuzztone
And it's all Baritone action!

Love the concept of these demos. I haven't checked out the second video yet, but one thing I can say about the first one: I loved having the track run, then soloing the fuzz, the going back to the mix, but I would have liked to hear that for longer periods. There are definitely times when there was a lot to say about the track or the mix level but just letting the track ride for a bit without the explanations would be awesome.
Again, I haven't watched the second video yet (can't at work), so my apologies if you did this more in that one. Keep doing these, though; you have lots of cool pedals and the songs are great

Thanks for taking the time to watch and thanks for the feedback - definitely taking it on board.
This especially is interesting - i was really conscious of not making the videos too long, because unlike the other demo videos we do there isn't any knob tweaking so I didn't want it to get overlong or boring. I was trying to give the sounds long enough to establish, but maybe I erred on the side of caution a bit - I'll try to let things bed in a bit more in future.
Of course, the other thing that I'd obviously say is, if you want to hear more of the track - they are all free on our Bandcamp page! Actually, beyond that, if you do download the EPs and come across a track with tones that interest you, let us know and we can do a video for that song.
