i'm puzzled. are you annoyed at people that "have money to waste" on a tiny looper for $130 or $100? or at the companies for trying to maintain a profit margin so they can keep making gear we want?

I'm annoyed at all the guitar business actually... but maybe i'm just having a bad week, no offense intended. If it suits your needs, and you don't mind paying for something when you could actually could buy better stuff for the same money, then it's actually non of my business!

lol. no offense taken suh.

i feel you that sometimes it seems like they're a bit bug fuck crazy to charge what they charge.... but there is all the r&d and advertising and blegevheggueyegh.

's a conundrum.

This is a key feature imo. Sucks having to scrap multiple layers of goodness because the last overdub you recorded was bunk.

The digitech site mentions the undo function...pretty sure you just hold the switch down.

Ahh, I see, figured they couldn't overlook that key feature.

Welp, I can't fault it beyond cosmetics then. I use a TimeLine and a Ditto for looping now and am perfectly happy though I think the Ditto would be more appropriately priced if it was $99. :thumb:

I was a bit weary of the ditto as TC has a sort of notorious reputation for faulty footswitches.

This will do just fine.

yeah I have never had an issue with a TC footswitch
maybe the relay true bypass makes people neervous :idk:

I do like the looks of this digitech looper, and the one big knob for loop level is key, it's the one thing I really hate on the RC-3 is that I can't do anything to change the loop level with my foot, this would let you fade out and such in a pretty cool way

It's a stacked knob so I am not even sure how I would get around it,
I do know that I have no desire to crank the boss drum samples through my amp so the digitech would make a ton more sense for me

i've read many times of people claiming the footswitches on a TCE pedal have broken. no experience with it myself as that is enough to keep me away from their products.

I had an Alter Ego for a while, didn't have any problems with the switch but it didn't feel right. The other part of the issue I heard is that TC won't replace the switch, they want to charge like $90 to replace the whole board.
