Guitar and t he Monotron?
I wanted a cheap resonant lowpass filter, and those arent easy to find. so i decided to look into the monotron, as it takes auxilary inputs such as guitar. I figure I could mod this like crazy, but do you guys have any experience using guitar with it?
and it looks like you can totally destroy guitar signals with it....

I haven't used one of the regular Monotrons but the Duo and Delay are pretty cool. They are built well considering the price.

And adding all the CV inputs would allow it to interact with my Moogerfoogers

Monotron hacking looks like a gateway drug to modular synth addiction. My pedal addiction is pricey enough for me for now, but man . . .

Re: Guitar and t he Monotron?
As soon as I got my Monotron Delay in the mail I spent nearly and hour with my guitar and headphones playing around with it. I'd like to see how it sounds through an amp, but the filter could have some use, and the space delay sounds sooo delishh. I'm gonna have a gander at that hacking vid!
my band is called CAPTIONS.

Re: Guitar and t he Monotron?
at some point the Monotron Duo WILL be used to produce Allan Ravenstine-style squeals and bleeps on my tracks. the idea of using it on re-amped tracks is also alluring. as is the idea of running it into my pedalboard for maximum modular synth funz.
