Vox AC30 unusual hum Question

I've had my Vox AC30HW2x for a while, and it sounds great. I basically only ever use the Top Boost channel, but I also like to use the Normal channel occasionally. However, when in use the Normal channel gives off a loud hum, far louder than any noise that I get from the TB channel. The volume of the hum changes when I nudge the cable a little, so I'm curious as to if it's just a jack issue.

I believe that it's still under warranty, so I could easily send it back. However, since this seems like a really simple thing I figure that I'd ask. I want to sell the amp, and if it just needs to be cleaned(how?) a little it'd be great.
