review of Cosmichorus in Guitar Player magazine

The July 2013 of Guitar Player magazine reviews twenty boutique pedals, including the Cosmichorus. It gets a very good review, which is cool (good job, Ryan!), but the picture of the twenty boutique pedals on the first page shows only nineteen pedals, by my count, and the only one that is missing is the Cosmi!

Neat hey!

I don't know why we didn't make the group shot...

This was a cool surprise for me though, totally out of the blue too. A few months ago I get an email from Dave Hunter, the guy who wrote this cool book, Guitar Effect Pedals A Practical Handbook, and who does lots of articles and reviews for GP mag. He wanted to put my pedals in the upcoming version of his cool book. Awesome!

Then a little while later he emails to say he's doing a boutique pedal round-up for GP mag and would I like to have a pedal in it? Awesome!

Really nice guy and he gave us the biggest promotion kinda thing we've ever been involved with putting us in his book AND in the magazine, can't thank him enough.

Maybe you didn't pay GP enough to be on the first page

But very cool to get that kind of promo, now you need to get the homepage up for all the GP-readers to check your pedals out!

Haha it's funny you say that.. I did receive an email telling me how smart it would be to buy some ad-space...

I was really hoping the website would be online for when the magazine came out but I thought it wouldn't be out til July and that was the deadline I asked my website guy to shoot for, so we're a little off still. It's nearly done though and it's really neat.

I read that book by Dave Hunter, and it was pretty good. The next edition will be even better now that Dr. Scientist is included!
