Delay for self-oscillation craziness
I'm looking for an analog delay for basic self-oscillation feedback and general crazy noises. I have a little spot on my board and I figured I needed a delay I can go on the floor with and make some noise with if needed. I figure it'll probably have to be an analog delay and the bypass tone will have to either have a great buffer or be a truly true-bypass.

Ibanez Echo Shifter ES-2
It's got a self oscillation switch built in, and making noise with it was my favorite part of owning it. And the bypass didn't affect the tone in any of my rigs.

Boss RE20 is amazing for this. Twist feature or expression pedal or hand knob turning. It sounds really great for oscillation.

Ibanez DE-7. the de-7 is really my favorite oscillating delay sound. Not that the DPP isn't awesome, I have a soft spot in my heart for the de-7.

This:
Also, if not that, I believe that Skullservant built bigchiefbc a Cave Dweller in a wah enclosure for precisely this purpose - so right bcbc could control the oscillations with the treadle. Such a great concept.

I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Well for analog delay the echo 300/600D is fucking awesome. I had this behringer echo pedal a whole ago and it's tape setting was pretty rad as well. I'm not sure what it was based on but it sure did sound great and it was cheap.
