Thanks! MST3K is the BEST! I used 4 months of bandwidth to download the whole thing; so worth it. I've watched a third of it so far. I love these controls. The knob's off an old incubator, and the tone-switch makes it so jangly. Someday, I'm going to make my own pick guard out of steel and send it to Danny to have it etched to look like a crazy 1920's time-machine control-panel

Changed the dirt section on my guitar board to just the Verellen Skyhammer Pre, it was a tight fit but with a lil spit n gumption i got it in there....

Anybody got any economical bass compressor recommendations? I love the compression effect of the CS-3 with the attack and release controls, but it removes all of the high end in my clean bass tone. Which is weird usually when i think tone loss i think low end loss, but not this time.

Eh; I've used cheap compressors and an expensive compressor. I've only been satisfied with expensive compressors (FEA Labs OptiFet).
Granted this was in Bass Land.

This is in bass land too! Board on the left (PB+, CS-3, BS, VPjr, DI / pre) is bass the board on the right is guitar, I switch off depending on the song.
Why thank you good sir!!!

How do you run that into you guitar cab? Do you use a power block and then run that into the pre-amp or do you use a normal head? I am not understanding how two pre amps would work in a set up. (though I love to just turn knobs and say .. fuck it)

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I run it in lo-output mode without the speaker emulator and run it straight into my head like I would any normal dirt box, just adjust the master volume to be unity w/o boost and louder w/ boost. It works great and sound amazing! You can run it into just a power amp and into a cab if you use the hi-output mode, and it has a dedicated recording out thats line level with a switchable speaker cab emulator. It's got all kinds of options that allow you to run it numerous ways, as a dirt box / preamp / or DI, super handy to have around.MaxMaps wrote:about that pre-amp.
