my band's new album - free download.

Post by leastwise »

The Raquellos just finished our debut album. We are giving it away for free. :joy:

Download here. http://www.recordtheory.com/albums/rt117

It's a folk rock thing. No fuzz, but still plenty of foamy sea songs about whaling and such.

We're also going on tour next week. Come on out if you can. :animal:

17-Oct: Baltimore, MD - Copycat Theatre
18-Oct: Williamsburg, NYC- Bruar Falls
19-Oct: Providence, RI - AS220
20-Oct: Boston, MA - House Show TBA
21-Oct: Bar Harbor, ME - Carmen Veranda
22-Oct: Portland, ME - Slainte
23-Oct: Hartford, CT - Trinity College
24-Oct: Philadelphia, PA - The Pilam

yay! :omg:
:joy: things to do, things to re-do :omg:

You're welcome. It's not on the album, but live we usually play a cover of Sally MacLennane.

Nice! One of my favoritest bands evar, Cordelia's Dad, did a version of Old Maui on their first album... but that version had a whole buncha fuzz on it... but that's what they were all about: dirtying up old musicks.

I'll have to forward this around to some of the sea shanty enthusiasts I know (and I actually do know a few)...

Hey, have fun with your show in Baltimore! Can't make it, but hope all goes well. :thumb:
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?
