I have a volume kit on the pre-wired Strat harness I had ordered from Acme Guitar works a while ago. No complaints....but then I had the chance to play an EJ Strat and kinda liked the treble roll-off that I got when turning down the volume control.
My tech buddy had installed a volume kit on my P-90 equipped SG a long time ago (along with a Torres midrange control that I'm taking out) and may have also put them in my humbucker-equipped Les Paul (also with a midrange control that's coming out).
I'll likely take the volume kit/treble-bleed network out of the Les Paul as I don't think that humbuckers are as succeptible to treble roll-off as single coils are. Not so sure what I'm gonna do with the SG. Will likely leave it in the Strat.
Any thoughts
