Very cool! Well acted, and the music was excellent as well. Reminded me a little of the short film Henry Rollins did years ago where he played the part of death (or some kind of agent of death) being interviewed by a reporter. Very low-key and moody.

I guess my only question would be why the director had 'Sophia' take off her shirt at the end - after such deliberate pacing & economy of script, it seemed a little out of place. Maybe it's just procedure in case the "releasee" struggles? I dunno. That was my only nitpick, though.

well, i think its part of the "release" that i chose. i drink something that knocks me out, and the last thing i see before im gone is a beautiful woman. it was just supposed to be part of the deal, and maybe a little more because she doesnt so much get attached as she does empathize with me.

I think your acting feels very natural, as does the music.
Crazy idea for the script, a bit horror some I think (I guess life just made me even weaker around the bones than I already was as a kid).

The release part was also not completely clear to me, as it was going on I thought it was going to be a "fuck to death" type of deal or something but then it never happened.
A cool thing is this release option nobody chooses, I'm always thinking about loopholes and it makes me wonder "what if he had chosen that, would he have been released from the release?" that's a nice touch.
Also the whole businessman setting makes it feel as if the character doesn't even feel that bad about the whole release thing.

yeah is supposed to be a little ambiguous i think. it is meant to be a horror type of this, but not in the gore sense.

im really glad there wasnt a "fuck to death" scene. that would have been real awkward to film with my girlfriend in front of a crew of 40.

Definitely, I can understand that.
I was also confused by the removal of clothing in the storyline so to speak, that was what I was trying to say.
I guess if I were in that situation I'd probably say something like: "Why don't you just blow my brains out right away bitch, fuck those three hours!"

Ah, that makes sense. And yeah, if one had to choose the way to go, that would take a little of the edge off.
