it was a great pedal--but I sold it to fund my '62 bandmaster purchase. I just don't use trem that much--when I do, it's usually the onboard trem on my Savage Macht.

Mad bean suggests changing the input cap to 22uf and output to 47uf for beefier sounds. Don't know if this apples here.

wonderin if this will sound good with bass. i used a regular FF for a part in a track once and it sounded great allbeit a bit short on the lowend.

I have one coming in within a few weeks so I'll post about it when it's here, on the video's I saw it sounded quite promising.
So far the Wolf Computer is still number one in my book but who knows.
They should release a Fat Fuzz Probe Vexter, that would be really awesome!

Well, it's in and I must say I quite like it so far.
The bass settings are quite useful, in comparison the regular mode almost sounds like an octave up fuzz.
I still need to run it against my Wolf Computer but I think it's going to be a very close battle, the Fat Fuzz Factory might be even more versatile.

Okay okay okay...

I went down to get some tubes for my amp today. I see the fat fuzz staring back at me. I say "may I try that".
I walked out with the Fat Fuzz Factory, and I'm going to sell my Fuzz Factory. I put them head to head at home. I have to say the Fuzz Factory has a little bit more output. I mean just a hair. But on position one on the fat fuzz, it sounded just like the fuzz factory. I twisted knobs and switch back and forth, back and forth, and so on and so forth. For the most part they are identical. But when you turn down the gate, comp, drive, and turn the stab up, and turn your guitar down, so you get that classic "cleaned up fuzz face" the fuzz factory does sound slightly brighter. SO, position one isn't really any different. Position 2 is kind of a dull tone. Position three is worth the switch to the fat (IMHO). The third position just has a nice tone, with a great bass response. I haven't plugged my bass into it yet. But I will soon enough. I really like the third position on this thing. Takes out that terrible treble I get on some of my fuzz factory settings (but I'm still able to get them in postion one). Yeah, so... in summary I like it... I like it a lot... I mean if you like the sound of the fuzz factory with your volume knob rolled off, this third position just sounds better.

It's quite nice, I don't see the point of having a regular Fuzz Factory if you can have a Fat Fuzz Factory honestly, that said it does sound absolutely horrible after a buffered pedal in my opinion, something to consider if you have buffered pre dirt pedals on your board and you don't use a true bypass switcher.
It's more versatile than the Wolf Computer but there's something to the Wolf Computer that I really like and I can't put my finger on it, the fuzz on it sounds nicer to me and it sounds great with either buffered or non buffered pedals in front, plus it's also a great deal cheaper so that makes it the winner for me.
