I'm with you there. My first year of college I was in a pretty bad place and I spent many a late night walking around this old graveyard in the middle of campus, smoking cigarettes and listening to this song while it was pissing rain. The only thing that could possibly top it is the version of Doin the Cockroach on Baron von Bullshit Rides Again. Dat intro!

Tough to disagree, but the first minute's arrangement has never "done it" for me.

After that 70 or so seconds, it just takes on a whole new vibe of    :excellent:

Edit: honorable mentions for Perfect Disguise & Bukowski, re: MM "best" songs.

My shoegaze band covered Interstate 8 after we all realized we loved it due to constantly listening to it on tour.

Rites of Spring's not shitty, dem boiz b jammin'.Granted, I wouldn't have known about them had I not gotten way into Fugazi and the other Dischord stuff. But I guess we've established that none of this is Elmo myoo-6, yes? What do y'all consider Orchid and like-bands to be? I do like Orchid. And by Orchid, I don't mean the one that sounds like Black Sabbath.

DUDE!!!!! I WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!! Thou owned that show though (CTTS would have been better if it wasn't for the amp problems), twas the first time i had ever heard them and was absolutely blown away by them. PG.99 is considered one of the first screamo bands that combined emo with hardcore and other heavy music. And it is really good, and while that show in particular was great it unfortunately pales in comparison to the 12 member wrecking ball that they once were. Their house shows in the late 90's early 00's were the best concerts of my life.

TWIABP are cool, I really like dads (the guitarist posts on here), algernon cadwalder
I really like snowing too, but they broke up, American football too

Emo for me used to mean my chemical romance and AFI though, I'm okay with genres changing meaning

The dude from Dads posts here?
