But harp guitars have been around a while:


Wanting one made out of carbon fiber takes the risk-factor and maintenance-factor out of owning a large, expensive instrument. And carbon fiber, when done right, is insanely resonant, so I think it'd work well for a harp guitar.

My sister made one out of PVC pipe and bees wax. Sounded pretty fucking good. Maybe something to think about/google.

Got an Inuk at a good price. Turns out, it was super rational! I had to lower the action, and I don't like the tiny frets, but I LOVE it. I'm thinking of almost entirely quitting acoustic guitar in favor of it (and/or things like it: doubled strings tuned in unison, super wide string spacing at the saddle. Guess there's nothing else like that...yet.)
