You COULD add another jack to the input, but it would honestly just sum the stereo signal you'd be feeding it into the effect, making it mono, and then splitting it back out stereo with the effect
It doesn't seem like the stereo input thing caught on for a while with major manufacturers. It only seems like the last few Boss delays and reverbs finally have stereo inputs!

yeah, its always an issue with stereo effects. so many of them have that, its very self centred of them to think that they are the only effect.
which effects are you thinking to use?
with phasers they work really well running 2 parallel mono units, you can sync them pretty close by ear and it often sounds better with the stereo syncing shifting slightly over time.
with chorus you can run one mono channel with just the wet signal and the other mono dry channel can bypass the pedal completely.
with tremolo though i usually like it to be perfect sync, so run through that one first as the mono-stereo split

nixhex113 offered me his DOD rig in a trade, i passed on it but the stereo phasor & flanger are what got me thinkin'.
i've done the dry/wet split but have never paralleled two phasors, that's definitely interesting... makes me wish i had two of the same though... hmm.
