X-men movies are weird. i remember loving the first 2 and liking some of the ideas in the 3rd when they came out, watching the Wolverine movie with fucking WILL I AM'Z horrible ass and Barakapool and immediately peeing disappointment anger blood as soon as it was over. First Class was a'ight... not bad just kinda meh.

but i rewatched the first them all a few months back and the X-Men movies are kinda bad. thre 2nd one is closest to good? but there's some horrible effects, bad characters, bad writing and just cheeeeese in there.

same arc with Spiderman movies. originally loved the first 2, hated the 3rd. but they are all BAD.

a) bond was going to be on to him because of that coin (i can't remember)
b) was going to survive his trap and give the girl the hots for him
c) the girl was then, on her own, to take the initiative and take bond to his island
d) bond was going to get there and get saved while of course he had told the agency to bring choppers first
e) they put javier in a box and
f) crack his computer that knocks out the system at the same time as
g) M is in the courtroom at the same time as
h) javier runs away to walk around that exact part of the subway to meet his guy that hands him new clothes and then arrive outside for the car to meet him and bring to him to M

no. i that's not even super-scientist-feasible. he might've gotten caught the SAME WEEK, but not like that. not on the MINUTE with that planning. that fucked skyfall so hard behndy would have cried if he realized it while watching.

Also, I hate Hugh Jackman (not as a person, he just does some shit movies) but that Wolverine movie was the only decent flick to come out of the X-Men franchise. Hopefully the second one doesn't suck.
My wife has this massive obsession with Christian Bale, but I think my man-crush is still Bruce WIllis in the original Die Hard. That movie sets the fucking standard. Could be swayed by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
or Jason Momoa though (Conan and Kahl Drogo. Super bear.)

i watch die hard on christmas every year, best christmas flick ever. bruce willis in that is a GOD. one of the best if not THE best action movie ever. christan bale's pretty sexy too. as well as drogo/conan

And he is charming, and he is brutal, and when he says "the benefits of a classical education" you're all like yep, I'd totally be smarter if I had one of them too. So good.

Vid and I have been discussing it. It's no Arnie original, but it's not shit either. I kinda dug it, but it needs another two movies to make it epic in nature. Yeah, Drogo is an awesome character, but the game of thrones rule book states that only shit may float. Awesomeness must drown and be forced to watch turds float overhead. Shockingly real analogy for real life actually...

Also vid, I think I end up watching die hard whenever it's on tv...it was on the other night, I can't help myself.

Fuck yeah, Alan Rickman is the greatest villain ever in that shit. All his lines are solid gold. And I had no idea that was his first film. Tat shit is amazing.
His is still the greatest movie death ever as well.

ugh. that was actually my last chance for the series movie. fucking AWFUL.

1 was perfect, 2 was a'ight, 3 is beautiful, 4 was okay (that was the I'm A Mac guy and Parkour guy B13 one?) even though they gutted the blood and language to avoid an R. but yeah. kinda done with that series.

Bruce Willis is trying doing everything as a caricature of his action hero self now.

I like that about Bruce now though, he's not afraid to take the piss on himself. Plus he does some genuinely quirky shit, like 12 Monkeys, seriously, for a guy in his position, in the 90s, that was a strange career choice. Awesome film though, so a good choice as well.
Haven't seen looper yet. He does some cool shit when he gets a bit sci-fi about it.
