It's got noisy pots and some breakup and noise. Also I might get EL84's in it instead, which is apparently what the amp was originally designed for which will give me more power
Its a 300 watt cab so i figure if i dont go over 7 on the master ill be straight???? I think? The cab is actually huuuuuuge.
IDK dude I set a 700 watt black widow on fire with a fender bassman 300, master on 5ish.
Yeah I would not be comfortable running that amp with anything less than a 4x12 with parallel/series wiring. The whole thing is IF a speaker fails will the remaining be enough to handle it, and in the case of catastrophic speaker failure, will there be someting to provide enough of a load to save the output transformer.

I was gonna say that Meat Smoke looks tiny on that cab, or the cab looks HUGE.
The bassist in one of my bands has a Meat Smoke and just for fun I've played guitar through it and my two V30 loaded 4x12's simultaneously. I didn't even push the volume past half and was terrified for my cabs with of how loud and deep it sounded... And I even run two 100w heads typically. You could always swap out those Swamp Thangs(though I love those speakers) for something like a pair of 200w or 300w EV's. The magnets are huge and way heavier, but safety first right?

Yeah i had ben put a 100 watt switch on the meatsmoke because something told me i wasnt going to be running a 300 watt head into a giant cab in my bedroom. The 100 watt switch cuts four of the tubes and i guess thats cool for just practicing but im worried over an extended period if this would not be bad for the circuit???

I wouldn't think so but for as much as you paid for that thing, I'd phone ben up and get his take on it.
