Cusack Screamer Fuzz Bass

Post by blindrabbit »

Zoikes, this sounds good to my ears. Never heard of it before spotting it mentioned in a TB thread. Looks like a search of Cusack around here brings up nothing. Anyone know anything about this little beastie?

I've been interested in the subfuzz for a while (which is a screamer+octave), but there's even less info out on that :(

"I'm going to basically dime each one of these"

Finally, someone who understands how to do pedal demos. Although he doesn't dime both of them, which I find upsetting. I think each part by its self sounds alright, but together sound pretty good. If only he dimed them both and did less talking. Certainly an interesting pedal, seems like something that would be digged over at TalkBass more than here, but I can appreciate the versatility.

Hmmm... Interesting indeed. I wish he had dimed them both as well. Kinda meh on the fuzz side, but could imagine it complementing the OD if they were both cranked. I might have to try to track one down.

Edit: the Premier Guitar preview clip shows the higher-cranked settings a little better. Innnnnnnnteresting indeed:
