Roland JC120 "Made In UK"?
Bought a used 80's JC120 serial number is 365220 and it says "Made In UK" on it. I've read about Made In Japan and Made In USA stamped JCs but can't find any info on why this is UK. Help me out ILFers

Probably an '83 if you can tell it's that old but that plastic around the screws is throwin me off...
Here is something that fell out of one of the Interweb pipes...

If there's no bright switch, no effects loop and has the beautiful gears tank, it's most likely late 70s, early 80s. If yours has a bright switch, it's probably about mid 80s, if there's a effects loop, probably a bit later. Finally, if your Chorus / Vibrato switcher is a knob and not a throw switch, it's the current generation model.

I was actually told it was an '83 when I bought it off the dude. He was the second owner. Original owner told him its an '83, still don't know why it says Made In UK, can't even find one person mentioning theirs saying that on the stamp. Just USA and Japan. It's a mystery

No there are Italian ones that have an E in the serial #... Probably just something they did in the 80's for U.K. when the New Wave scene was going full bore and everyone HAD to have those SPARKLING CLEANS!!!
Nice amp anyway and now you can tell everyone it's RARE...

Haha, yeah it's probably just that they did a little run of them from the UK in the '80s. Cheers for the help man!!
