New pickup on my Telecaster

Post by sylnau »

Just ordered some Lollar pickups for my telecaster.
Regal wide range humbucker for the neck and Special T for the bridge.

At the moment the capacitor installed is the IC5032... I also have a .022uF that came with the guitar.

Which one should I use with the new pickup? What is the difference? Should I get another value?

I don't know much about this.

I use a .022uF cap in my Tele with the BKP singles but not sure how it compares to that other you mentioned.

Does the Lollar bucker have coil tap or series/parallel wiring options syl?

From the information there, it's darker:

From what I read, .022uF would be better (I guess).

Fender are weird!

I finaly decided to remove that pickguard and look what was Inside.

There is two IC MSR 022K250H on both tone knob... which are .022uF.

So I really don't know why Fender include a single .022uF with the diagram of a guitar which is not mine.

So I'll keep the .022uF there. If they where IC5032, I would have change them.

Is this a tele you've owned or did you buy that awesome one you posted somewhere that was a natural stained looking finish? Just curious because I loved that one you posted.
