completely different sort of hip hop than i'm used to

not a fan personally. I think he's pretty surface/immature. He's not a bad rapper though and I think he can be pretty damn funny.

I think he is quite good, I like the way he thinks and how he has created a career not only for himself but for many others, out of just fucking around in his bedroom, a lot of terrible songs that go with a lot of great songs

set up a ghetto cassette recorder rig....Plug into br-600, plug mini fm transmitter into headphone out of br, sending the signal to cassette boombox w/record. Crank dem levels for good S/N ratios and bam. Sounds like ass. Only single track obvy....could also "mixdown" to the tape by prerecording the tracks, then repeating the above then pressing play on br. Gonna call it Abbey Grove Studio

I played with a dude today who was a really good guitarist and had some really cool riff ideas, but t'was really underwhelming. When I got there he was basically like "I can't jam" and only wanted me to make bass parts along to what he and already written. Which is totally cool. just not what I was looking to do. & when I tried to play some of my ideas he was just like "uhhh.." and then played more of his shit. Blah.

But toward the end I kicked on the Team Awesome Fuzz Machine and he came over to my board to turn it off because "it was too much." But he kept hitting all wrong pedals, so it just kept blasting. It made me happy for a minute.
