Has anyone A/B'd the Octave Clang and the Apocalypse?
I've been looking at the Apocalypse for a little bit, wondering whether I should pull the trigger or not.
I feel like I'd like a bit more variety with my fuzz, I ADORE my Octave Clang though and I don't have much room left on my board. If the Apocalypse can cop it well with it's octave setting, it'll be a nice way of keeping my current sounds and mixing it up a little too.
That 'ultra blown-out' super-high gain thing really has me interested too, but I don't want to be losing my Octave Clang-iness any time soon.

Pull the trigger! I'd bet you could resell it just fine, also, you might make a great sound doing this.

I finally bought the Apocalypse and it quickly replaced my Octave Clang and my Fuuz War. Then you still have 3 other settings to work with, good shit!

Yessir, the Octave Clang is pretty much encompassed in the Octavias mode and you'll find the Fuzz War in Square Wave mode. There's another mode similar to the Fuzz War, Wave Shift, then a Scoop Mode with noise gate and finally a Gainiac mode to bring the madness. Really great pedal, price is a touch high but not really when you consider everything you're getting.

You're all very close to making me £180 lighter.

Knowing you have this pedal and a bass, could you say if the Apocalypse cops a decent amount of bass tones on the newest A place to Bury Strangers record?

You know, I've never really messed with bass and the Apocalypse but I'll look into it real soon here...
