Back row is always-on (sans TB loop): the '69 fuzz face is controlled via guitar vol knob, EX-P brings in the SC's reverb, EV-5 alters the Tremolessence's Rate.

This board covers anything I'm currently willing/able to throw at it.....and combined with THE Selmer head's breakup it is making me want to get serious and write some material. I'm about ready...
Aside from the expression pedals & SS phaser, it's set-and-forget. Gear that doesn't get in the way of my creativity.

For contrast (and extra fun) I want to tandem this with an experimental, tweaker board built of a Pigtronix Infinity Looper > Superego (with Goodbye 24+Phase-O-Matic Deluxe in the loop) and v3 Cosmichorus

I will call them Business & Pleasure.

Edited to remove Gihugic size.

I've been trying to understand ... make this work ... be myself with this. Constant struggle. I feel like this is some sort of computer game quest, some illogical combine x with y will take e to the next level. I will continue to work with it. But even though it's just noise it requires lots more dedication than pretty music. I am on a remote island on the other side of the planet from my comfort zone. Next stop: getting the beats more focused.[/quote]

put a distortion/od on the output of that trogo. it helps pick up weird audio artifacts that you dont normally hear. maybe it'll open up new sonic shenanigans.

Been trying that. My Dirge Treble Booster works very well for this. But I'm wondering - could it be that both jacks funktion as output and input at the same time? I haven't tried it yet, but putting the TB in front of and behind the Troggo in the chain seems to change the sound in the same way. Playing guitar through it sounds freakish too. I've found a fairly recreatable setting that makes the guitar actually audible. In most settings you can't hear anything even if you hammer the input with multiple boosts, in some the guitar seems to affect the oscillators and in one or two settings you can actually hear a distorted sound.

I learned that the switches really open up the device and make it more playable and less random. At least now I can flick a switch, play a rhythm and oftentimes the same thing will happen the next time I flick it. Predictability, yay!

I really want to get a DS-1 and recreate my special mod for it to make the world go kaboom.

cool man, those trogo's are wild beasts; I like my 666 as a stand alone noise synth, feeding it different things make you rethink everything. The best sound ive ever got was feeding my alesis synth into the 666 into a JBL active speaker really damn loud. it was like hearing distortion from an asshole with 3 ear drums, in the best way possible.

Going to give it a healthy dose of iOS drum-machining tonight. :yay:
It's totally different from all my other effects/toys.

Dude I love it! It makes so many crazy noises with different pedal and does that straight blown up type fuzz. Fun as hell! Favorite combo is Xero, Decomposer, Ghost Echo and Magnetar. Sounds INSANE. Almost like a Sci-fi movie. hah
