The jazzmaster youtube demo sounded pretty good.
For those interested in a cheaper alternative, Creepy Fingers makes a smaller enclosure (still fairly big) version that I really enjoyed playing (Chankz got yours still?). I'm pretty sure it has a booster in it after the fuzz circuit, but there aren't any controls for it.

Yep, haven't played it much lately though. I'm pretty sure it's a faithful recreation of a Vox Distortion Booster and Repeat Percussion.

i have one of the old sonic booms (black silicon), and it's my FAVORITE pedal. super rad people too; go for the acid fuzz!
